- Scalpers Exploiting the System: It is widely rumored and most likely true that thousands of queue participants, are mainly scalpers. They exploit the system and drive prices up beyond what true fans can afford.

- Inaction by Ticketmaster: Despite having numerous opportunities to mitigate these issues, Ticketmaster has failed to implement effective solutions:
  - Better Verified Fan Sales: This could prioritize actual fans, but remains underutilized. The system they have now is not working. 
  - Purchase Limits: Stricter limits could deter scalpers but have not been effectively enforced.
  - Resale Regulation: Proper regulation could ensure reasonable resale prices, but current efforts are inadequate.

- Unfair Pricing: A ticket initially priced at $47 can soar into the thousands, an unconscionable markup driven by unchecked reselling. This practice is illegal in other jurisdictions, where resale is capped at a modest percentage over the original price. Why isn’t the same being done here?

- Driven by Profit: The lack of enforcement and effective regulation suggests a profit-driven motive, benefiting from high fees derived from inflated resale prices, at the cost of genuine fans.

Our Demand:

Ticketmaster, it’s time for action. We demand a comprehensive reform of your ticketing system:

- Implement Better Verified Fan Programs: Prioritize real fans by ensuring these systems are actively used and improved.
-Set and Enforce Purchase Limits: Put a stop to bulk buying by scalpers.
- Regulate Resale Practices: Ensure that resale platforms limit markups to a reasonable percentage, similar to existing international laws.
- Transparent Systems: Provide transparency about ticket availability and pricing to create trust amongst fans.
