Why I am writing this petition:

On 9th August 2024, at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata, a young doctor was brutally raped and murdered. This is not the first case. Every year in India, thousands of girls, women, and even children suffer the same fate. Families are destroyed. Victims lose their lives or live with pain forever.

And yet, in most cases:

Trials drag on for years.

The accused get bail and walk free.

Survivors are harassed and silenced.

Politicians and powerful people escape punishment.

This is not justice. This is failure

What we want:

We demand a final, fool-proof law:

Death penalty for all rape convicts — no exceptions.

Fast-track trials completed in 30–60 days, no delays.

No bail for rape accused.

Public disclosure of rapists’ names and photos after conviction.

No Political or money power protection for criminals.

One crime. One punishment.

👉 One rape = One death penalty.

 

Why this matters:

If rapists know they will face certain, final punishment, they will think a thousand times before committing this crime. Right now, they are not afraid — and that’s why these crimes continue.

 

This petition is not just for one victim. It is for every girl, every woman, every child, every human being in India who deserves to live without fear.

We demand Parliament, the Supreme Court, and the Government of India to immediately pass a strict anti-rape law with mandatory death penalty.
