Demand Datta Meghe College of Engineering to Refund Caution Money to Graduated Students

Demand Datta Meghe College of Engineering to Refund Caution Money to Graduated Students
The Issue
As a student at Datta Meghe College of Engineering, Airoli, my parents and I were asked to pay INR 10,000 as a caution money upon admission. We were assured that this amount would be reimbursed post-graduation. True to my commitment, I graduated with the batch of 2021.
However, despite meticulously submitting all the required documents for this refund in September 2021, there has been a disquieting silence from the college end. The non-responsive stance of the college staff and the accounts section has further fueled my anxiety. This reluctance is inexplicable and unjust, considering that this refund has been pending for over three years, causing undue distress and financial strain. Given the significance of this amount, it is practically egregious to withhold it without providing any credible information.
This petition is deeply personal to me because the financial implication directly affects my parents' hard-earned money. It is neither a donation nor a fee, but a refundable deposit that the college is obliged to return. Hence, it is disheartening to see the apathy shown towards students' rightful claims.
I, therefore, request your support in demanding Datta Meghe College of Engineering, Airoli, to immediately act on refunding the caution money of all graduated students still waiting. Your signature can expedite this process and ensure that all students get their due amount. Please sign this petition and stand with us in this fight for justice.
