Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, willfully disregarded the orders of both the Central and State Government. This non-compliance goes against the rules and regulations specified by our governing bodies meant to ensure responsible and ethical actions. Furthermore, even upon complaint to the Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar, the same pattern of non-compliance is observed, making it clear that this issue is systemic, extending beyond the university and into broader local administration. As citizens reliant on these institutions, we cannot stand by while this contempt of government orders continues. The Deputy Commissioner's role demands attention and accountability, which is currently lacking and resulting in negligence of duty. The pushback against this conduct needs our collective voice so that we may bring about change in the current mode of operation.
