Here’s the latest update on the expected timeline for this important decision:

• Thursday this week (Feb 6): Introduction of the ordinance to insource animal control services.
• Tuesday next week (Feb 11): Public hearing at the council committee to debate the proposal.
• Thursday next week (Feb 13): Final vote and approval–if everything proceeds smoothly.
   

At this time, the ordinance is still being finalized, but keep an eye out for it when the council agenda is published on Thursday.
