Thank you so much to everyone who has signed and shared this petition and also to everyone who has contributed financially to see this petition gain more exposure. I am so blown away and encouraged by the financial contributions people have made to highlight this issue. Thank you so so much!

Just to update you all. I reached out to Candy Kittens Sweets last week - they responded that their collaboration with Netflix is not permanent so the sweets will not be in stores for much longer. They have also said they are working to remove the sweets from shelves and are working with the groceries stores to implement age restrictions. I asked them to be more precise about what they mean when they say they are removing sweets from shelves and what they are specifically doing to work with groceries stores to implement age restrictions. They did not respond.

I then sent them another message sharing this petition but no response to that message either. I believe Tesco may have now stopped stocking them but from what I can gage Candy Kittens themselves do not see anything wrong with sexualising young minds and even when this is highlighted to them they have refused to do the right thing which is to remove them from all spaces that will be frequented by children in any capacity.

They have had countless negative reviews on their reviews for this particular product from angry parents and it's sad to read the reviews from other customers/parents who are calling those that have complained about this 'Karens'.

I do believe that this petition is not in vain. Ultimately we want these sweets out of every space that sells to children. Thank you so much for your support. Please do keep sharing and bringing awareness. Our children cannot fend for themselves in this, nor do they know how to preserve their innocence but we as adults can do something to protect them. So I pray we will do everything we can to fight on their behalf and protect their hearts, minds and bodies.
