However, Bungie has been giving preference to fixing free-to-play content like PVP and issues with the Eververse store while the issues that plague the paid seasonal content remain unresolved. One bug of note was the issue with the major field research from episode Revenant, which was bugged for an entire week after Heresy's release on February 4th, 2025, which locked players out of progressing through Act I of the episode. While this paid content remained bugged and inaccessible, Bungie only put their effort into balancing PVP and fixing issues with the Eververse micro transaction store. This lack of attention to paid content renders the $50 annual pass a prime example of false advertising, leaving fans feeling neglected and cheated. We are not asking for preferential treatment but simply for parity. Paid content should not be ignored in favor of free-to-play and Eververse fixes, particularly for issues that obstruct access to the content gamers have shelled out their hard-earned money for.
