Demand Better Working Conditions for Jujutsu Kaisen Animators at MAPPA Studio

The Issue

As a devoted fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I am deeply concerned about the welfare of the talented animators who bring this incredible series to life. It has come to my attention that these hardworking individuals are often overworked and under tremendous pressure, with little time for rest or recuperation. This is not only detrimental to their health and well-being but also impacts the quality of work they can produce.

The animation industry in Japan is notorious for its grueling schedules and low pay. According to a 2019 survey by Japan Animation Creators Association, many animators work over 200 hours per month, earning an average annual income of just 1.1 million yen (approximately $10,000) (source: NHK World-Japan). This unsustainable situation needs immediate attention.

I urge MAPPA Studio, the production company behind Jujutsu Kaisen, to take immediate steps towards improving working conditions for their animators. They deserve adequate breaks between shifts and reasonable deadlines that allow them enough time to maintain both their creativity and their health.

By signing this petition, we can show our support not only for Jujutsu Kaisen but also for those who pour their heart and soul into creating it. Let's stand together in demanding better treatment for these artists at MAPPA Studio! Please sign this petition today!
