Every signature represents someone who believes that animals deserve better. Better than being neglected, abandoned, abused, discarded, or left to suffer without anyone stepping in to help.
Across South Carolina and throughout this country, animals are depending on us to speak when they cannot. Dogs are left to fend for themselves. Animals suffer at the hands of those who should protect them. And too many homeless animals face the ultimate consequence of a system that desperately needs reform.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
We cannot keep signing petitions and sharing heartbreaking stories while the same problems continue. We need accountability. We need stronger protections. We need meaningful penalties for animal abusers. And we need our elected officials to understand that protecting animals is not optional.
