Canadians have been berated on a daily basis by Mr. Trump's stated desire to make Canada the "51st state" through coercion. 

The truth of the matter is that Mr. Trump doesn't want Ukraine to join NATO for the same reasons he doesn't really want any part of Canada to become a "51st state".  Like Ukraine, Mr. Trump simply wants to make Canada a "resource colony" of the United States.

How can we continue to trust a country to be our prime military ally through NORAD that now wants to annex us?

NORAD is a binational military organization which involves the United States and Canada. Established in 1957, with a formal agreement signed in 1958, NORAD is tasked with "the defence of North America".

Does NORAD present Trump with a gateway to annexation which he seeks to expedite through "economic coercion" in violation of a "free trade" agreement that he signed with Canada and Mexico during his previous presidential term in the White House?

We, the undersigned ask King Charles III, who is our Head of State, to convene an Emergency Meeting of the Commonwealth to discuss the threat of annexation against Canada by the Trump regime, and seek the following resolution to be made at that meeting:

Be it resolved that we, the members of the Commonwealth, commit to the defence of the territorial integrity of all member nations, and that any effort to forcibly annex Canada against the will of its people and government will be met with the same resolve as the War of 1812.

It was made clear in a recent press conference with the British prime minister that Trump fears a Canadian-British alliance within the Commonwealth which is resolved against annexation. 

King Charles III has reportedly invited Trump to Buckingham Palace.  Let's send them a message.  No secret royal deals which sell out Canada or the Commonwealth.  Canada is not for sale!
