I am writing this petition with a heavy heart, having lost my little sister and two others due to the terrible road conditions in Amarillo, TX. This tragic incident is not an isolated case; many residents have repeatedly complained about these dangerous roads, but their pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

The American Society of Civil Engineers' 2021 Report Card for America's Infrastructure gave Texas a 'C-' grade for its road infrastructure. This is unacceptable for our city and puts lives at risk every day. The lack of action from the city authorities has already led to irreversible losses.

We cannot bring back those we've lost due to these hazardous conditions, but we can prevent further tragedies by holding the city accountable. We demand immediate action from Amarillo City officials to repair our roads and ensure they meet safety standards.
