Attention parents of the South Callaway School District, 

We need to discuss a serious concern- It has come to light that a teacher at our early childhood is married to a convicted pedophile and registered sex offender. 

Publicly available court records indicate that the abuse was not a one time thing, having started when the victim was only 13 years old, lasting two years before his arrest, subsequent guilty plea & incarceration. The victim was also a south callaway student before, during, and after the abuse took place.

The offender Jason Lallier, is listed as a tier level III offender. This classification is reserved for individuals convicted of the most serious sex offenses. Those that pose a significant risk to public safety. Offenders in this tier may have committed crimes such as rape, sexual assault, child molestation, or have repeat offenses. Tier III offenders have the highest level of risk.

The teacher married to the offender is still currently employed and it’s been discovered that she has been soliciting parents (by direct message) on the official app used by the school in the hopes to privately tutor children she’s previously taught for payment. This was to take place over summer break 2024 in HER SHARED FAMILY HOME. This is unacceptable. This convicted child abuser has also been allowed on school grounds repeatedly- with a majority of the community largely unaware. It’s time to act. As parents we must prioritize our children's safety and well-being.

It’s more important now than ever to stay informed and advocate for the safety and wellbeing of ALL of the children in our district. The rules and laws are not merely suggestions to follow as it suits. They are not to be dismissed or ignored due to the offender or enablers prominence, years of service and familial ties to the community. 

This is a dangerous matter of the continued failure of south callaway schools to intervene and remove a current threat to the students they’re supposed to protect. 

Please consider signing this petition to ensure your voice is heard and encourage the removal of Mrs. Lallier and outright ban convicted sex offenders presence in our district once and for all permanently.
