Dear supporters
Thank you! Because of your signatures and continued support, our campaign has reached a critical moment.
On Wednesday 25th March, members of our community (including Sarah A and Ashley) will be speaking directly to the Lord Mayor and full Leeds City Council chamber at the Civic Hall. This is a formal deputation , a rare opportunity to put our concerns on record at the highest local level.
💬 Why this matters
This campaign has always been about something simple but vital:
The right to feel safe in our own homes
Streets that are accessible and not obstructed by cars and vans from local garages
A community that is respected, not overlooked
Proper enforcement and accountability
For too long, residents have been dealing with ongoing issues that affect daily life, safety, and wellbeing. This deputation is about ensuring those concerns are finally heard — clearly, publicly, and formally.
🙌 What happens next
We will be presenting directly to councillors and decision-makers, asking for:
Clear action
Proper enforcement
Accountability for ongoing issues with over 10 garages in a small area using the streets around our homes as scrapyard and car forecourt
But this doesn’t end on Wednesday.
Your support continues to matter.
