I am a victim of Scottish Power's misleading practices. In one month, they charged me almost £500 when their in-home display and app stated almost half this value. This unjust charge took half my income in one go. It is not just about me; many customers are suffering from the same issue.

Scottish Power advertises its home displays as accurate live time usage and cost indicators, but then charges its customers up to 100% more than what is displayed. Moreover, if a payment is even a day late, they hound customers with multiple telephone calls and emails sometimes several times within a 24-hour period.

There have been numerous complaints against Scottish Power for these practices. However, they continue to mislead both their customers and Ofgem to get these complaints dropped.

We need the government to step in now. We demand that the government holds Scottish Power accountable for their misleading advertising tactics and overcharging practices that are causing financial distress to countless households across the country.
