Trump's decisions to fire 18 Inspectors General without proper congressional notification further erode checks and balances essential to our government.

- **Human Rights**: His policies have led to a notable regression in human rights, with actions that discriminate against minorities and dismantle diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, particularly within the U.S. military and federal agencies.

- **Pardoning Insurrectionists**: The pardoning of participants from the January 6th Capitol attack sends a dangerous message that political violence may go unpunished if it supports the President's agenda, fundamentally undermining our law enforcement and judicial integrity.

- **Public Safety and Health**: Trump’s administration has rolled back healthcare protections, particularly affecting the lower and middle classes, by reducing the scope of the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid, thereby increasing vulnerability among these groups.

I fear that without collective action, these actions will not only continue but intensify, leading us down a path where democracy is at risk of being overshadowed by authoritarian tendencies.
