As an active community member of IACC in Plano, TX, and like many others in our community, this masjid is near and dear to my heart. It is not just a place of worship for us; it's an integral part of our lives and community. However, recently there have been issues that need addressing and understanding.

We are not privy to all the information we need to understand what is happening. This lack of transparency has led to confusion and unrest among us. We believe that open dialogue can help resolve these issues. We need to ensure this place is running according to Islamic principles and constitution of the masjid.

As members, donors, and congregation of IACC, and due to the inability to have our voices heard, we are requesting a townhall meeting where these matters can be discussed openly with everyone involved. We want to be able to ask questions to gain a better understanding of what is happening and to have our voices heard and valued. According to the Pew Research Center (2017), such meetings have proven effective in resolving community issues across America.
