We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned by the alarming number of deaths at Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas. At least 13 bodies have been recovered from the lake since 2022, raising serious questions about public safety and the circumstances surrounding these tragedies.

Christopher Hays-Clark: April 2023
Unidentified White Male: July 7, 2024
Unidentified Person: September 29, 2024
These cases, along with other unidentified victims, demand a comprehensive investigation by all relevant law enforcement agencies.

We urge the Austin Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to collaborate on a thorough and transparent investigation to determine the cause of these deaths and ensure public safety.
