The global market for internal-combustion vehicles peaked in 2017 and is now in "structural decline," Bloomberg New Energy Finance declared in a recent report.

Combustion-vehicle sales in 2022 were down almost 20% from the 2017 peak.
It now also predicts that oil demand for transportation will peak in 2027, thanks to shifts in commercial truck sales toward zero-emission vehicles.

Despite this, the Pathways Alliance wants to boost oil sand production and wants us, taxpayers, to cover 2/3 of the carbon capture cost.

This is why it is so important to sign E-4225, asking for oil production licenses not to be increased, as asked by the oil industry.
