Hi all, we’ve reached over 1,600 signatures on this petition, and our voices are being heard. As I'm sure all of you know, Lakeland is one of the latest cities to pass a moratorium like we've been pushing for. That's a huge win in the right direction. Now we just need to ramp up the pressure even more so our County Commissioners can do the same across the board. It's up to us to protect all of Polk!

With the EPA moving to exempt AI datacenters from disclosing air pollution and the backtracking of protections at the federal level, and Florida SB 484 getting rid of the 5-mile-radius rule and allowing companies to push NDAs at the state level, it's clear that it's up to us to protect our own communities from the techno-oligarchs.
