For too long, the Filipino people have been kept in the dark about who truly governs our country. Millions of us are affected, not just politically, but emotionally and economically, by a leader who remains silent while others rule in his name. From the cost of living crisis to corruption and injustice, we deserve leadership that is visible, capable, and accountable. But what we see instead is a President who appears to have delegated authority not just to his Cabinet, but to his relatives, specifically House Speaker Martin Romualdez and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos. And now, with viral videos and reports suggesting possible drug use, the silence has become unbearable. The Filipino people are worried, and we deserve answers.

What’s at stake is nothing less than the integrity of the presidency and the future of our democracy. If President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is truly unfit to lead, physically, mentally, or morally, then continuing down this path without transparency is a threat to our nation. If a president is incapable of fulfilling his duties and decisions are being made by unelected family members, then our democracy is being undermined before our very eyes. But if these claims are false, there is one simple way to clear the air: submit to a hair follicle drug test, a long-term, science-based method used across the world. If the President has nothing to hide, this test will restore public trust. If he refuses, the questions will only grow louder.

Now is the time to act, not tomorrow, not next year, but now. With Undersecretary Claire Castro asking who exactly is calling for this test, this petition is our answer: It is the people. We are the ones asking. This is a peaceful, lawful, and fair demand for truth. Filipinos across the country and around the world are calling for one simple act of transparency. A clean leader should not be afraid of scrutiny.
