Mission PD has provided documentation back to the Lopez family that is rushed, unprofessional, inaccurate and creates a false narrative that suits them best. They have chosen to exclude important information provided by the family. Not only did they do this but they also couldn’t even continue to put Michelle’s name on the report, the further the report gets, the more they begin to get sloppy and lazy and call Michelle “Michael”. They have no sense of decency or respect. There are various false statements corroborated by the investigators and several lies told to the Lopez family by the Mission PD. How are we supposed to trust them now that we have a report that shows us just how dishonest they can be? 

It's not okay that this is what we call “justice”, rather than try to improve the system or get the truth, the system attempts to cover up and refuses to acknowledge mistakes they have made- no one is willing to do the proper work and it makes no sense to any of us.

After having physical evidence of the lack of care in Michelle’s case, the Lopez family is going to hire a private medical examiner so an unbiased thorough eye can review everything. We know it is the holiday season, but even a dollar from anyone who visits the page would be of great support.

We can’t believe how hard we have to fight for a thorough investigation but as much as it pains us, we will continue to fight and push forward. For Michelle and any other family that has been let down so badly by Mission PD.
