As a property owner in Deer Run Recreational Park located near Camden, Ohio. Not only is it state law, but I believe it is our fundamental right to know exactly how our money is being distributed, spent, and who is making these decisions. Our community wealth may not be used appropriately, leading to a severe concern of potential misuse and fraud. 

Misappropriation of funds not only affects community projects but undermines our trust in local leadership. Furthermore, the Annual Report on Government Fraud (2020) by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners estimates that a typical organization loses 5% of revenues each year to fraud, which extrapolated to our community means potential losses that could run into thousands of dollars.

We, the diligent and concerned citizens of Deer Run, demand a thorough, unbiased audit of our community's financial records. This is not an act of mistrust but a step towards ensuring transparency and validating our confidence in the current system. We request this to protect our community's integrity and hard-earned resources, as well as to guarantee that every dollar is indeed being invested back into our beloved community.
