Demand a $15 Minimum Wage for Georgia Workers — Raise Georgia’s Minimum Wage Now

The Issue

Georgia’s minimum wage is $5.15 an hour—the lowest in the nation. Low-wage workers, single parents, students juggling jobs and school, and essential workers across Georgia struggle to cover rent, groceries, and healthcare on this wage.

If the wage stays at $5.15, thousands more Georgians will be forced to rely on food banks and public assistance, local businesses will suffer from reduced consumer spending, and families will continue to fall behind despite working full time.

With the cost of living rising and neighboring states raising their wages, Georgia cannot afford to wait. Immediate action to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour will lift workers out of poverty, strengthen our communities, and jump-start economic growth across the state.

As founder of Raise The Wage Georgia, I launched this campaign after seeing friends and neighbors struggle; now we demand fair pay for everyone.
