The new Dell XPS 15 and 13 laptops look amazing. However, people in Europe only have a limited amount of customization choices compared to e.g. the US.

We are many people who would like the same options, such as being able to prioritize a bigger battery (84 WHr 6-Cell vs. 56 WHr 3-Cell) over the 4K and touch screen display, or an SSD drive instead of a SATA HDD.

Reddit: Why does Europe have terrible XPS 15 configurations??

When people are willing to pay such a large amount of money for a nice laptop, shouldn't they be offered the choice of what hardware they want?

Obviously, there might be some production problems regarding specific components being out of stock. That is to be expected. But at least it would be nice to know if Europe is ever going to get the same options as the US.

Dell, can you give us a hint about when/if we can expect more customization options for the XPS laptops in Europe?
