Styrofoam is an extremely toxic material to our planet. It’s very fragile which makes it easy for the little lightweight pieces of plastic to break off, fly around, and eventually end up in waterways leading out to the ocean. When not bagged up and disposed of properly this material is a serious threat. I started my hatred for styrofoam when I found the little pebbles of it all over my favorite beach. It broke my heart.  I know those of us that clean up in our communities have spent hours cleaning up the tiny pieces of this material and we say enough is enough!! Time for this material to go!! I’m starting this petition to make companies see that I’m not alone in this battle against styrofoam. It’s 2021. There are more sustainable options that corporations and businesses could be using that aren’t consequential to our futures. We don't want marine life to suffer any longer. Our oceans are already full of microplastics and this material keeps adding on. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! CANCEL STYROFOAM!!!!
