URGENT NOTICE
To All Petitioners:
As you could see from this disingenuous notice that was posted 6 hours before the Town Hall meeting in St. Croix, we believe Senator Clifford Joseph didn’t want anybody to show up to the town hall meeting in St. Croix. And now they want to run through St. Thomas on the first day after a long holiday weekend on Monday, December 1, 2025, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, when many people are still traveling.
This sham legislative process needs to be stopped. I urge EVERYONE to show up on Monday and oppose 36-0144 (or any superficial amendments) as it does nothing to reduce crime in the Territory other than criminalize law-abiding citizens and ban commonly available legal firearms and magazines (5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, December 1, 2025 at the St. Thomas Legislature Bldg.) The criminal will continue to possess their powerful illegal guns as they do not register their firearms--we'll be left with inferior weapons to defend ourselves.
Unlike regular committee hearings, they cannot control the narrative. So, if you want to be heard, this will be the best opportunity for us to be heard.
Best,
