New Mission

As it appears some of the senators are not listening to us (as evidenced by their bringing back the Bill on Oct. 9th), we now need to evolve to become a well-organized voting block and stakeholders to reward or oppose certain campaigns going forward based on the upcoming votes.  Many businesses owners, entrepreneurs, union members, taxi cab drivers, electricians, current and former law enforcement officers, contractors, tow truck drivers, etc. are firearm owners as evidenced by our diverse membership.  Approximately 5,000 to 8,000 registered firearms owners in the USVI will follow us.

As I have analyzed the membership and petitioners, not enough members and petitioners are currently registered to vote.  Historically our votes (business owners and entrepreneurs) and/or stakeholder wishes have been ignored, but I believe the upcoming open election is going to be different as “Register Online” is implemented for the first time (started January 2025).  It’s A Game Changer!!  Your votes were most likely not part of the last election, but we could instantly become relevant if those who are eligible register like we have already seen in the online petition growth (currently 593, possibly one of the largest petition in VI history according to a knowledgeable person).  Around 200 votes were enough to change the fortunes for certain candidates in the last election (see attached 2024 Election Results). We need as many people registered to vote by October 5th, so I could craft my testimony accordingly for the October 9th hearing.

So, for those who are eligible, let’s get registered. You only need one of the following documents scanned for registration:

(1) Birth Certificate
(2) Passport
(3) Military Discharge Form (DD214)
(4) Naturalization Certificate

Then, Click the Following Link Next:

VIVote.gov

FIRST, check to see if you are registered (“Voter Look Up”).  You may not be registered anymore as the voter registration gets purged if you have missed TWO, recent elections.  NEXT, Click “Register to Vote.”  3 minutes at most to complete the form.  Anyone who is still walking around with a flip phone, we’ll help you on October 5th to get you registered online, i.e., just bring your passport or other eligible documents.

Should you wish to accept the mission.

P.S. Those who want an optional (not needed to vote) and free registration card with your picture, you still need to stop by your election office (one located in Lockhart Garden Shopping Center).  But, there are no lines whatsoever now.  : )
