We, the undersigned, call for immediate action to uphold the sovereignty of the Philippines and protect former President Rodrigo Duterte from unjust foreign prosecution.

Duterte’s case at the International Criminal Court (ICC) is a violation of our national sovereignty, as the Philippines withdrew from the ICC in 2019. We believe that:

1. The Philippine justice system should handle Duterte’s case, not an international court.

2. The ICC has no jurisdiction over the Philippines.

3. The government must take legal and diplomatic steps to challenge Duterte’s extradition.

4. Duterte must be granted due process under Philippine laws, not foreign influence.

We urge:

• President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to take official action in defense of Duterte.
• The Department of Foreign Affairs to challenge this case at the international level.
• Filipino lawmakers to pass resolutions defending our sovereignty.
