Dear Alaskans -
Thanks for your involvement in the fight to defend Alaskans' PFD and Fund! Your donations and volunteering to help Permanent Fund Defenders and oppose the PFD raid have made a difference. Politicians tried to change the PFD law for the last 4 years, and we have stopped them. But they are circling back again! If you are in the ANCHORAGE AREA - Can you go to a PROTEST in Anchorage to oppose the PFD TAX and changing the PFD law? Tell people you know in Anchorage if you are in another area. The protest is planned for Oct. 7, Noon-2pm, at the Anchorage Legislative Information Office at 1500 W. Benson Blvd. If you are in Anch take your lunch hour to protect your Alaskan rights and wealth! There are 8 legislators meeting called the "PFD Working Group" and they are working to RAID the PFD. Most of these legislators voted to CUT the dividend to pay for govt. Please EMAIL if you can confirm you will join! We need a minimum of 50 to go ahead and have 30 protesters now.  
ALSO: If you are in FAIRBANKS can you help with getting info to Alaskans at the Alaska Federation of Natives Convention in mid- October? Up to 6,000 attend and we can get email addresses and get more voters involved to stop the PFD raid and support better options for the State budget.
