We need to decrease the requirements for Medical Assistance in Death sooner than March of 2024. People requesting MAID shouldn't have to wait a year to get their date, or have some crazy terminal illness. If someone wishes for medical assistance in death and they have eligibility, they should be able to have it done soon, not wait a whole year just to see when they are going to get a date. 

If things change, it's not soon enough, but if things stay the same as it is now, it's too hard for people to get access to MAID. Once they are approved, it takes months at least for their date. We need to act now because it's only fair that the people in need of MAID get it when they need it, so they aren't in a great amount of pain and without treatments and help.
