We urge the Federal Government to declare far-right activist group the national socialist network a terrorist organisation. 

 

It comes after 16 neo-Nazis were arrested in Adelaide on Australia Day as they attempted to disrupt a Survival Day rally. 

 It is unlawful to perform the Nazi salute in public or to publicly display, or trade in, Nazi hate symbols. The new laws also ensure that glorifying and praising acts of terrorism are criminal offences under Commonwealth law.

Leader of the group of the national socialist network Joel davis again appeared in public at the Adelaide magistrates court displaying Nazi symbols. The safety of the community at hand is at high risk to these 16 individuals that with the intent inflicted an unsafe and an unlawful demonstration. 

The Federal Government should require these unlawful actions of the national socialist network as a necessity to protect society against potential further intentional racial violence, and declare the group as a terrorist organisation.
