Dear supporters,

Across Australia, people have shown incredible tenacity and compassion in the deadly fire season - firefighters have been fearlessly battling fires, communities have united to help each other, and children are continuing to rally for climate action. 

During this period, our campaign to declare a national climate emergency has reached over 200,000 supporters. I am grateful to each one of you for joining the fight.

Early this week, a group of over 200 scientists urged parliamentarians to immediately reduce Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions, presenting them with the scientific evidence that unequivocally links human-induced climate change to the increasing risk and severity of bushfires in our country. If we don’t take hard action now, we are choosing to put our children’s future at risk.
