The appellate court (5th DCA) has denied the Attorney General's Motion for Rehearing in regards to the sentence banning Archer from owning animals once his probation is over. What this means is that Archer can get another animal once his probation is completed. Just remember, he was tried under the old statute for his horrific crime against an innocent pup because it happened prior to Ponce's Law. Ponce's Law exists because of this brutal killing.

We will know next week if the Attorney General is planning on appealing to the Supreme Court and I will keep you posted.
