So here's what's next....

I have spoken with the State Attorneys and they will be meeting to decide if they will file an appeal to the Supreme Court. I will post the outcome of their meeting either way but in the meantime, just know that while Travis Archer's case was prosecuted under the old statute, meaning there was no language in the statute for banning animals at the time of the crime, everything from the passing of Ponce's Law (10/1/18) forward will be prosecuted under Ponce's Law.

We have the best prosecuting attorneys in the state and they love animals and hate animal abuse. They put their heart and soul into every animal abuse case.

I will post the update as soon as the decision is made.
