Why is "IT" still running for the Walled Lake Election in Michigan?

Anyone in Michigan who has read the words of "IT" fully know by now what the issue is. A severe mental health issue. A loud and sad story of how a lost soul falls through the cracks in society with no safety net, and zero support from his peers. "IT" does not know he is being played as a pawn. In a nutshell, IT claims his barber from Walled Lake for over 3 years before he moved to Hawaii was a Muslim homosexual and who was friends with the son of the founder of Hamas and they were going to write a book together, followed by more depressing demon and murder talk. Before Louis Pasteur people had little understanding of bacterial causes of disease. When he discovered the causes and developed what we know as “pasteurization” millions of lives were saved. What causes other behaviors that people find troubling? Should a pastor ignore people who ask for help? As a pastor I was asked by some people if there was a way to curb the desires they wished they did not have. If someone was not troubled enough by these desires to ask for help I would not ask them if they needed help. I would wait until they asked for it. I’ve hired or employed people in the past who were by their statement living a homosexual life. One such man lived in Walled Lake. We even discussed the possibility of writing a book together about Islam. But his life took him in another direction. I hope we can still write that book together. While pastoring a Church in Illinois a man, call him Sam, sent word to me through his sister that he would like me to visit him in the hospital. Sam was in the last stages of Aids which shortly killed him. He could not have weighed a hundred pounds and was barely able to sit up in bed. He expressed to me his sorrow for the promiscuous life he had led with other homosexuals. I did not condemn him. We all struggle with things in our lives for which we have sorrow. We spoke of God’s love and how God wished to receive him to Himself. We prayed together and Sam received the peace that passes all understanding. We embraced and he shortly drifted off to sleep. He died a couple of days later. Sam’s funeral was held at our church and was conducted by me. His parents and siblings were present and were very relieved that Sam found peace at life’s end. I wondered with my friends what causes people to lead self-destructive lives. Many of the great Saints of the world led self-destructive lives and worse before their conversions. St. Paul hunted down Christians before he became one of the world’s greatest missionaries. St. Augustine sired a son without the benefit of marriage. The principle cause of sin is what is called the fall of man. We chose and choose against our better selves to do things that can be very hurtful. Sam did. The Church in her Bible teach that “our battle is not with flesh and blood but against principalities and powers unseen” which can influence us to do harm to ourselves and others. In other teachings we learn that these principalities and powers are fallen angels called “demons”. When we are unable to resist them, we become self-destructive or even destructive of others. Sometimes that destructive behavior can be evidenced in little lies. Sometimes it can be evidenced in sexual sins. Sometimes in alcoholism or the lust for power. The demonic influence is manifest. I’ve spoken and written on this as have all pastors. But that, thank God, is only the beginning of the story. Jesus died for everyone. It doesn’t matter what our past has been like. It doesn’t matter what has been done to us or what we have allowed into our lives. Demons have no power over those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Demons exist but their power is illusory. If we can ask help from God and others who love Him we can find relief. Life’s patterns that we were tricked into thinking were permanent can be changed.
