Dear Rockstar Games: Enough Is Enough. Stop Ignoring Us.

Dear Rockstar Games: Enough Is Enough. Stop Ignoring Us.
The Issue
To Rockstar Games,
This is not just another rant from a disappointed gamer — this is a heartfelt call from someone who grew up admiring what you used to be. A studio that once dared to push boundaries, craft unforgettable stories, and actually listen to its community. But lately? You’re not that anymore. And it hurts.
Let’s be real: GTA V was released in 2013... And instead of evolving, instead of showing us what’s next, you’ve decided to keep milking GTA Online for over a decade. Updates, expansions, money grabs — all with zero meaningful engagement or transparency about future projects. Is this really the legacy of the company that gave us Red Dead Redemption, Bully, Max Payne, and ....?
Where’s the innovation? Where’s the risk-taking? Where’s the heart?
It’s bizarre — and honestly heartbreaking — that a company capable of releasing some of the most memorable and groundbreaking games in history has become so silent, so cold, so corporate. You don’t just seem disconnected from your fans — you seem to have actively tuned us out. Eyes shut. Ears closed. Because why care, right? As long as the money rolls in.
But art doesn’t thrive on ego. And right now, Rockstar feels like it’s running on nothing but ego. The belief that whatever you release will sell no matter what, so there’s no need to engage, no need to update us, no need to care. That kind of arrogance is poisonous to creativity. It alienates the very people who got you where you are — your fans.
We’re not asking for miracles. We’re not demanding an overnight release of GTA VI. But we are asking for respect. For honesty. For even a hint of what’s next. We’re tired of logging in only to see another GTA Online announcement. It’s draining. It’s repetitive. And worst of all — it’s uninspired.
We deserve more. You used to deliver more.
This is a personal objection. As someone who has loved your games, who has spent years defending and celebrating your work — this silence is more than disappointing. It’s insulting. Please, start acting like the Rockstar we used to know. Give us something to be excited about again.
We're not just wallets. We’re the community that made you legendary.
Sincerely,
A loyal but tired fan.
