The Journal Record published an opinion piece today by Andrew Spiropoulos, the Robert S. Kerr, Sr. Professor of Constitutional Law at Oklahoma City University and the Milton Friedman Distinguished Fellow at the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs.  Professor Spiropoulos decries the assault on McCall, stating "They had no right to use McCall’s published work as the sole basis for an accusation that McCall wrongly discriminated, in his work as an administrator or a professor, against any particular group of students. If you have evidence that he engaged in specific acts of discrimination, investigate away, but bringing complaints based only on McCall’s opinions violates the principles of academic freedom."
