My name is Fermin Carino. I am a professional employed in the health care industry going on nine years. Throughout this year's I have been blessed with two precious Gifts. A son and daughter whom I would give my life for. They are my motivation. My daughter was removed from her/our home on an "emergency referral." There was an improper process of removal done. I was never interviewed by any DCFS Social Worker. I did try to set up a phone interviewed and upon calling the Social Worker a numerous amount of times and not being able to leave a voicemail due to the the voicemail being full I ceased calling. I was never contacted by anyone after the first contact was done. As I was at work early February I received a phone call from my fiance whom sounded worried. She stated DCFS was at our home and they were trying to take our Daughter Emily away. I immediately notified my manager of the situation and drove home. Upon arriving, Multiple L.A.P.D marked units were scaterred surrounding my property. I was not allowed to proceed into my property drive way. Upon Turning the off and exiting my vehicle I was approached by an officer and was asked by him to walk with him across the street where I was asked if I had any weapons and immediately put in handcuffs. I was then put in a patrol car for what was close to an hour and a half. Since the handcuffs were put on me, I asked many officers if I was being detained or arrested. No officer could give me a response. There also was no arrest warrant for anyone presented to myself, fiance or family at that time. I was not able to approach any of my family members or stop the unjust removal of my daughter. I was given two options after the hour and a half detain/arrest. I was informed I and my fiance had an arrest warrant issued against us and so did my 2 year old daughter at the time. L.A.P.D. stated they would not detain me or my fiance so we could show up to court to "fight for our daughter." They said that my daughter was to be removed immediately and that if I didn't comply they would arrest me. This is just part of what occurred in my instance. I ask myself day by day what it was that I did wrong? All I have tried to do is provide for my children and give them what perhaps I didn't get at their age. Be a loving father and spend time with my kids. Xavier my 5 year old whom was not even named in this case has not been able to see his sister much. Since February he has only seen his sister twice. His birthday is coming towards the end of this month of October. He ask me for just one thing. Something I think I may fail him on, which is to be with his sister for his birthday. DCFS has been very biased towards my fiance and I an awful lot. They lack communication and intentionally cancel our visits. Her paternal Grandparents have asked to visit and are yet to receive a response. As a father I don't want to fail my children and I feel I'll be doing just that to both my kids due to this very unjust situation.

P.S. This past Friday 10/05/18 I was informed by a family member that Another Social Worker was looking for me on regards to my son. Now DCFS doesn't get enough with the damage they have already done. They want to go after my son simply because I decided to voice out and defend myself and seek to have DCFS follow through with a court order signed by an honorable Judge pertaining to my daughters visits. I state this as the reason because one day before this social worker came to my home I was being treated in a disrespectful manner by my daughters Social Worker Carmen and I simply exercised my right of freedom of speech.
I am here to stand up for those whom think they have no voice and all is lost with there children due to DCFS negligence. Please in unity help Me by supporting and sharing this petition. This isn't about my daughter only, it's about INNOCENT CHILDREN THAT ARE BEING USED TO MAKE PROFIT! INNOCENT CHILDREN WHOM DESERVE TO BE HAPPY AND NOT SCARED BECAUSE THEY ARE TO YOUNG TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON! PLEASE SHARE!
