Yesterday while court was still in session, Amber Heard and her entourage got up and walked out so that she could hold a press conference on the steps of the high court. In her statement, she said that after her divorce, she just wanted to move on with her life, and that reliving her marriage’s breakup was “incredibly painful.”
I cry BS. If she just wanted to move on with her life, she wouldn’t have made all those comments about being the victim of domestic violence, which we now know is completely untrue. She wouldn’t have written that WaMo op-ed that got her sued in the first place.
She also said that she would have preferred not to be here in court. Again, I say rubbish. She didn’t have to be there all day every day. She only needed to appear to testify. That was two or three days out of three weeks, but she insisted upon showing up every day.
Finally, she thanked the world for the tremendous outpouring of support she’s received over the past weeks. And all while she’s been booed every day.
What I notice about that video is the faces of everybody standing with her, including and especially her sister Whitney, who looks like she’s attending at gunpoint. The whole group looks miserable standing there, until the very end when they all smile on cue. It truly looked like all of them wished there were anywhere else.
Me, I think it was highly disrespectful to the court for her to get up, walk out, hold a press conference, then walk back in.
What do you think about it all?
