First up today was Isaac Baruch, an artist and friend of Johnny Depp’s since they were teens. Mr. Baruch resided in the Eastern Columbia building at the time of all these goings on. Right out of the gate, QC tries to twist his words and put words in his mouth that he didn’t say. When IB testified that he saw no marks or bruises on the night of the fight, QC began testifying to the opposite. IB asked if there was a question in there somewhere. Likewise, the judge stepped in to put a stop to it, too, to keep the proceedings on track and timely. The QC questions were pretty general, bantering back and forth about how IB has known JD so long, lives rent-free at Johnny’s residence, and might therefore lie out of loyalty. The same old song and dance. Until the Question of Elon musk arose, relating to when EM visited, which dates and what time of day. Usually late at night until morning, and always when Johnny was away. But just as fast as that came up, it was glossed over. So the make takeaway from IB is that on the night that Amber said Johnny threw a phone at her face, she bore no marks at all. None.

Alejandro Romero is a concierge at the ECB. He was also questioned about EM visiting, from around March of 2016. QC called him a liar about the dates because they don’t match up with her narrative, but AR stood his ground. And that was about it for him. Honestly, I’m not sure what this accomplished in relation to a case of Libel against the Sun for calling Johnny a wife-beater, but maybe it’ll get tied up later.

Travis McGivern works (worked?) as a security guard for Johnny Depp. QC made short work of browbeating him when he disagreed with her timetable of when he entered Johnny’s penthouse on the night of the that Amber Heard alleges that she only hit Johnny Depp in defense of her sister, Whitney Heard, and with whom. QC asserted that TM entered the apartment with Amber’s nurse, Debbie Lloyd when Amber was already in the apartment, with the fight already underway. TM says that he met Amber in the lobby and left DL there with her and went up to the penthouse alone. Amber came up after and got into it with Johnny. TM is adamant that Amber is the only one that was physically violent, punching Johnny in the head.  QC started testifying again, but TM kept in line asking for a question and refusing to speculate when she asked him to. The takeaway from this line of questioning is that somebody in the room can testify to the fact that only Amber Heard was violent that night.

Amanda De Cadanet, founder of the #MeToo movement and former Amber Heard supporter, will not be questioned. She has publicly withdrawn her support for Amber Heard, so this comes as no great surprise. The last thing the defense wants is another explosive testimony supporting Johnny Depp.

After lunch, there was some debate about metadata and how easily it can be forged, in reference to the May 16, 2016 pictures that Amber Heard had taken. The times in all of those photos, according to metadata, is 00:00, which is impossible if metadata is correct. The bickering started to interfere with the timetable of the proceedings, so it will be decided by Monday morning.

Laura Devinere is an interior decorator and on again/off again friend of Amber Heard’s. She was sworn in and confirms her witness statement. The basic gist of her testimony is that she was terrified into signing a statement in support of Johnny Depp due to coercion on the part of Adam Waldman. She says she’s terrified of what Johnny’s lawyers were insinuating they would do to her. She says she didn’t want to get involved and was very uncomfortable giving a statement.

An interesting note is that the court played a recording of a conversation between LD and Amber that was recorded without LD’s knowledge or consent, which is illegal in the state of California. How many laws does Amber have to break, FFS? In the conversation that was taped, Amber drilled LD about what AW was saying to her, and honestly, it sounds like LD is terrified of Amber Heard, not Adam Waldman.

The main takeaway from LD seems to be that she was uncomfortable making that statement that she never saw any injuries on Amber Heard because of pressure she was under from Johnny’s team, but nowhere does she say that the statement is untrue in any way. So, while she may still be terrified of Amber, LD stands by her statement.

Due to previous commitments, that’s all I caught. Apologies. But I hope you found this information useful.

I'm having internet issues, so if I don't get updates put up in a timely manner, kindly forgive.
