Amber Heard has filed a request for the Weinstein company to turn over all correspondence between Johnny Depp and Harvey Weinstein. 

Just when we think that there are no more straws for Amber Heard to grasp at, she pulls another sliver out of thin air.

This latest fishing trip is Heard's most desperate attempt yet to smear Johnny Depp by associating him with Weinstein, Hollywood's biggest pariah. If she can smear enough mud on Johnny, she thinks, I guess, that she can get a pass for abusing him.

There is a link between Johnny Depp and Harvey Weinstein, of course. The 2004 movie, 'The Libertine.' The film was promoted by the Weinstein Company. As such, there's no guarantee that the owner of the post-production promotion company ever passed words with Johnny Depp, and there's certainly no proof whatsoever that Johnny had any knowledge whatsoever of Weinstein's misdeeds. 

Perhaps we should look at Amber Heard's ties to Weinstein herself. Heard's lawyer, Roberta Kaplan used to be Harvey Weinstein's lawyer. That alone speaks volumes.

But let's not forget the largely forgettable Film 'All the Boys Love Mandy Lane' with Heard in the titular role (a hilarious comparison with Heard's real life). Harvey Weinstein's company was supposed to distribute the film, but he dropped it. That gives Heard Just as much of a chance to have had conversations with Weinstein as Johnny did, by the post-production-company field of logic.
