Hi Everyone, 

I have an important update to share about the Quewezance sisters’ case: Odelia and Nerissa have a bail pending appeal hearing scheduled for November 24 and 25, 2022.

This upcoming hearing is a crucial step for the sisters as it would mean they would be released on bail pending the ministerial review of their case — which is currently underway but can be a lengthy process.

With your support, we have come so far but this isn’t over yet. The Saskatchewan government has not been helpful in providing a remedy for Odelia and Nerissa. In fact, they have made it very clear they oppose their release and would rather see the sisters locked up in prison for the rest of their lives for a crime they didn't commit. This opposition from the Saskatchewan government is why every signature counts leading up to the bail hearing.
