Our Pets Need Your Help - please read and sign the petition to pass Senate Bill No. SB162 SD1 related to the sale of raw goats milk for pet consumption.

As of recent, pet stores and pet food suppliers received notice from The State of Hawaii Department of Health that they are no longer able to sell raw goat milk pet products because it is unpasteurized. The State of Hawaii DOH has issued cease and desist letters, denying the sale of these products from pet stores across the state.

Every raw goat milk product is clearly labeled NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION, yet the DOH still considers this to be a health hazard (assuming that humans consume it).

Local pet families and businesses are heavily affected by this mandate and now need help with the passing of Senate Bill No.SB162 SD1 -- currently on hold until 2050. It is vital that we request this Senate Bill reviewed and passed immediately.
