John Cantlie, correspondent and photographer was taken prisoner with James Foley by the Islamic State in November 2012 and has been held captive since, and has been made to appear in various videos produced by the Islamic State. John had returned to Syria with James Foley and they had reportedly been working together on a film about Cantlie’s first abduction.  James Foley was beheaded in August 2014.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Cantlie
