Ides of March 2019
Dear Friends
Thank you for your continuing interest in exposing injustice and crime that is inflicted upon so many tourists and migrant workers on Koh Tao, Thailand.
Today I am sending you something very different. It is a link to a highly satirical tourism video that “promotes” Koh Tao but in a refreshingly honest way. Well, I did say it was different!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfcAcScqkfo
Please take the 6 minutes to view the video and if you are a non-Thai living outside Thailand please share the video with your many friends on your various social media platforms. Obviously, Thai citizens and anyone living within Thailand need to make up their own minds about the benefits and risks of sharing such a video given the way free speech is often crushed so ruthlessly within the Kingdom.
As many of you are aware, the Burmese scapegoats, Zaw Lin and Wai Phyo remain on death row in Bangkwang Central Prison awaiting the outcome of their final appeal to the Supreme Court of Thailand. They appreciate the cards and letters that many of you are sending to them!
Thanks again and best wishes

Beneath the video I have published some background information about the Sydney actress, Natasha Dai who plays the part of a presenter from the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Natasha was crowned "Miss Congeniality" in the Miss Australia Chinese Pageant 2017.
