ALLEY CAT ALLIES has advised Deputy Ruth of the Dare County Sheriff's Dept. that quote "TNR Cats do not need to be given food and water". Becky Robinson,ACA Pres., was asked to deny and correct this but would not deny it.Dare County now believes from her statement that cats who have been given food and water for years can have it taken away at any time and no act of animal cruelty has been committed.And Dare County is allowing hundreds of cats to starve because of it.Cat Haters on the Dare County Board Of Commissioners along with their Sheriff are forcing caretakers to watch their cats starve or go to jail trying to feed them.All backed by ALLEY CAT ALLIES-so much for TNR and Animal Cruelty Laws (scoff)?I watched the Dare County SPCA help cat haters starve this cat,SQUEEKY, TO DEATH!HE DIED after his caretaker was given an order by Sheriff Doughtie to stop feeding-do you call that law enforcement?
