As you all know. Our son, Daniel Smith was hit and killed by a drunk driver who fled the scene on August 19, 2023. She got just 4 years, even though she had two previous OVI'S (2018 & 2022) and was on probation the night she killed Daniel. We are so very grateful for the love and support everyone has shown Daniel and our family. We have started a petition in Daniel's name to make the punishment for these crimes harsher. We are so close to our goal of 2000 signatures (we currently have 1571). Please help us reach our goal so we can take this to legislation.  We are in no way asking for money or donations, just signatures so we can get this to the next step.❤️
