The photo I posted is one of my favorites of Allie: big smile, wind in her hair. We'd gone for a family bike ride and made a stop for ice cream - one of our go-to adventures during the pre-vaccine days of Covid. I remember that this ice cream was "birthday cake" flavor; Allie loved it.
This photo is from July 18, 2021. Allie would be killed by a driver less than two months later.
Vehicle regulation can save lives. Changing the New Car Assessment Program is one small step - but if we can't do the small, easy things, then when are we going to do the hard things???
