Recent news shows that this petition is needed more that ever:

"90% of people don't eat enough fibre"

Most people know about fibre yet nearly everyone is not eating enough. Why are we leaving it to media and TV programs to tell us what to eat. Surely it would be better to learn what fibre is and why we should eat more. If kids learn it at school perhaps they can influence their parents.

"Ofsted to plans to overhaul inspections" 

Many people have criticised Ofsted for judging a school primarily on English and Maths results and ignoring school growing schemes or better school food. (You may have seem Jamie & Jimmy calling for Ofsted to honour their promise to include 'food' in inspections)

Ofsted's most recent 'overhaul' has seen them backtrack on their promise and actually remove some of the very small references to food.

"UK reoffending hits 60% compared to Norway's 5%"

Why can't the UK learn from other countries?  We have seen how many SEN (Special Educational Needs) kids can be transformed through food growing and cooking.  When many SEN kids end up in prison and each inmate costs £100,000 per year we must do more.
