Commuter Line ads: A&W, see this!

Last month, AFFA launched an advertisement on the Intercity Commuter Line - Bogor to Jakarta Kota, which passes through 27 stations. The ad appeared 145 times inside the carriages, asking Subway Indonesia to ditch battery cages. You can see photos here.

This advertisement has the potential to reach 330,142 commuters per day. 

It shows the real condition of the majority of laying hens in Indonesia. They are still kept in battery cages: small wire cages that don’t allow them to move freely. They live with great stress and can’t even spread their wings.

A&W and Subway are big fast-food companies that don’t have cage-free commitments in Indonesia.

This is unacceptable, and we need both A&W and Subway Indonesia to release cage-free commitments right now.
